Tom Beecher - President and CEO
As president and CEO, Tom brings more than 20 years' experience building businesses that require both consumer marketing expertise and business services skills. Prior to joining Cartera Commerce, Tom was CEO of Imagitas, a marketing services company whose clients included Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and Home Depot. At Imagitas, Tom played a series of key roles in setting company strategy, managing relationships with key clients, and growing the company's core lines of business. As CFO at Imagitas, he led the $265 Million sale of the company to Pitney-Bowes and subsequently became CEO. Early in his career, Tom was a consultant at Bain & Co., president and co-founder of a start-up, and a financial services product manager at Fleet Financial Group (subsequently acquired by Bank of America). He has an A.B. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.

Karen Cambray - Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer at Cartera Commerce, Karen Cambray is responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting, legal and human resources. She has more than twenty years of executive finance experience in early-stage, emerging technology companies. Before Cartera Commerce, Karen served as the CFO and Vice President of Operations at Zeemote, a venture-backed manufacturer of wireless controllers for mobile applications, where she managed all financial, legal, administrative and operational activities for the company. Prior to Zeemote, she was CFO of Groove Mobile, a venture-backed, mobile music company (acquired by Livewire Mobile in 2008), where she was responsible for financial operations, human resources, legal and administrative functions, as well as overseeing the network operations and data center for Groove Mobile's mobile music platform. Before that Karen held senior financial management positions at Be Free, Inc., Internet Securities, Millipore Corporation and Arthur Andersen.

Brian Michon - Chief Technology Officer
As chief technology officer at Cartera Commerce, Brian leads the company’s development, operations and solution delivery teams, driving Cartera’s card-linked offer technology strategy. With over 20 years of experience, Brian brings extensive product development expertise and deep knowledge of the small business and digital media markets. Prior to joining Cartera, Brian ran engineering at Abine, an early-stage, online start-up that delivered privacy-enhancing software to more than three million users in less than a year. After co-founding startup Apps.com, which was purchased by Intuit, Michon’s defining career success came as Intuit’s vice president of engineering, where he led a team of 180 developers across 10 business units to build flagship, category-dominating products such as TurboTax® and QuickBooks™. He also previously held senior development roles at Digital and Oracle, led Core Technologies at Linden Lab, the innovator behind Second Life®, and directed engineering at Think New Ideas, an e-marketing company in the Omnicom portfolio. Brian holds a BS in computer science and engineering from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MS in computer science from Stanford University.

Clare Robinson - Chief Marketing Officer
As chief marketing officer, Clare leads Cartera's marketing services team, which delivers integrated marketing capabilities and programs on behalf of Cartera's top bank and loyalty program clients to maximize results and ROI from card-linked offer programs. Prior to joining Cartera, Clare was senior vice president at Communispace, a leading provider of online consumer insight communities for top brands such as Kraft, Charles Schwab, Hilton Hotels Corporation and Unilever. At Communispace, Robinson led client services, thought leadership, product management and strategic partnerships - helping the company more than double its revenue. Prior to Communispace, Clare was executive vice president and relationship manager at Digitas, a leading digital marketing and media company. As part of the Digitas executive team, Clare help lead Digitas during an extended period of rapid growth and a successful IPO by implementing strategic marketing programs for top consumer brands such as AT&T, Celebrity Cruise Lines and Delta Air Lines. Earlier in her career Robinson worked in general management consulting with Temple, Barker and Sloane (now Oliver Wyman). Clare holds a BA from Williams College.

Ethan Flaherty - Vice President and General Counsel
As general counsel at Cartera Commerce, Ethan is responsible for all legal matters arising in connection with ongoing operations, including services and licensing agreements, marketing and advertising agreements, purchasing and vendor agreements, development agreements, intellectual property matters, regulatory compliance matters and litigation management. Ethan brings more than 15 years of private law firm experience concentrating on mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, complex commercial contracts, licensing, joint ventures, and intellectual property law, representing a wide range of high tech emerging growth, middle market and Fortune 500 companies. Before joining Cartera Commerce, Ethan was a partner and managed the corporate and business practice at Pabian & Russell, LLC. Prior to Pabian & Russell, Ethan was an attorney at the Boston offices of Nixon Peabody LLP and Keegan Werlin & Pabian, LLP. Ethan holds an AB from Brown University and his JD from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Elyse Lee - Vice President, Local Advertising and Partnerships
As Vice President of local sales and partnerships, Elyse is responsible for growing the nationwide base of local and regional merchants. Elyse honed her local sales management skills at a variety of companies within the local media and advertising space. Prior to Cartera, Elyse was senior regional sales director for CityGrid Media. Her responsibilities included directing sales and operations throughout the Southern region. Elyse started her career at BAPCO/BellSouth (AT&T), where she worked in the Yellow Pages and YP.com divisions, holding several sales management positions over her 18 year tenure. One of her most significant career milestones occurred while working in sales operations for BellSouth, when she became a patent-holder for a sales collateral system which she took from inception to training. Elyse received a BS in advertising and communication from The University of Florida.

Marc Mazzone - Vice President, Online Merchant Network
As vice president of online merchant services and development at Cartera Commerce, Marc Mazzone is responsible for the overall management of the company's 800+ online advertiser and merchant partnerships. In addition to merchant development and management, Marc directs the sourcing and merchandizing of merchant offers and creative assets across the network, striving to provide consumers with the best available rebates, deals and promotions in the industry. Marc comes to Cartera Commerce with a background in advertising sales, marketing communications and client services. Prior to Cartera Commerce, Marc managed the online merchant network as vice president of partner management for Upromise, Inc., one of the leading coalition loyalty programs in the U.S. (later acquired by Sallie Mae). Earlier in his career, Marc held sales and marketing positions with Lycos (acquired by Terra Networks SA), Student Advantage and the Community Newspaper Company. Marc holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from Boston University.

Kathleen McEntee - Vice President, Client Services
As vice president of client services, Katie is responsible for partner development and program management of Cartera's growing client base of financial institutions, including leading retail banks and card issuers. A senior banking executive with more than 20 years' experience, Katie was previously a senior executive vice president with MBNA and then Bank of America. Her responsibilities included business development, marketing strategies, relationship and P&L management of key affinity business lines. Katie was also the chief marketing officer of MBNA's first international operations in the UK and Ireland and member of MBNA International's Board of Directors. She has also previously held positions with Citibank London and Next Jump, a provider of loyalty and rewards programs. Katie holds a BA in mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross and MBA from the London Business School.
